Question & Answer Time.....

Hi......Joyce, let me introduce you to Max, A.K.A. Ding ~ he's 10 and not so bad anymore just old and senile :)

and this is Ms. Bailey, A.K.A. Dong ~ she's 2 and VERY BAD, but so cute...she's my baby :) she hunts birds with Mr. P, although she's on the DL this winter due to a leg injury and will be having surgery hopefully at the end of the month :/

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis which is Rheumatoid of the spine & vertebral body.....I also have degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine and my lumbar. I had to have two discs removed and titanium cages fused to the discs in my cervical spine last March, so to get to the answer to your question (I talk a lot :) ) Remicade & Methotrexate are chemotherapy drugs that are used to treat many things one of them being Rheumatoid Disease...I have to go for a monthly infusion, a cocktail as the infusion nurse calls them...not really my kind of "cocktail" but hey it helps A LOT!!! It takes about 3 1/2 - 4 hours and it wipes me out....this is what I look like when I get home....

By tomorrow though, watch out.....there's NO HOLDING ME BACK!!!!!

So that's it in a nut shell....I'm going to go get cozy, because yes ladies it's FREEZING UP HERE!!!!!!!

Until tomorrow, Be Safe & God Bless!

  2. I hope all of this treatment helps! I was tested for RA about a year ago but it turned out to be just plain 'ole arthitis! You are one busy lady, so it doesn't slow you down:) Have a blessed day dear Lynda! Hugs from chilly Georgia!

  4. You are always in my prayers! I know how difficult it is to work with pain and how much it can wear you down. I was just thinking the other day that I have been working full time for 8 years now. My doc says nothing short of a miracle! It was December 2001 that you took pity and hired me! I am always mindful of that and you will always hold a special place in my heart. I learned a lot, had some fun and value our friendship! Love ya, Sassy
