This Cold Weather Is Like A Bad Relationship.....

Yes, that's right! This cold weather just won't GO AWAY!!!! We are expecting temps to go down into the low 30's to high 20's ~ frost warnings THE WHOLE NINE YARDS, UGHHHH!!!!

Do you know where the expression "The Whole Nine Yards" comes from???? Do ya, well, do ya????? No, want me to tell you? During WWII, the US Army Air Corps fighter aircraft had a maximum capacity of nine yards (belt fed) of ammunition for the machine guns. So if the pilots emptied their guns on the enemy they would say "I gave him the whole nine yards!" Just a little Military Trivia...I've got a lot more!

I am a wealth of useless knowledge, I fill my head with all kinds of things ~ I read everything I can get my hands on research facts & figures ~ That's why nobody will play Trivia with me. They say I cheat, NO I DO NOT I JUST KNOW A LOT OF STUPID STUFF :)

Here are a few more for you to ponder....

What political system was gradually dismantled in South Africa, starting in 1989?

What modern vehicle was invented to circumvent trench warfare?

What 20th-century conflict was dubbed the "forgotten war" despite 54,246 U.S. deaths?

What game was created by French mathematician Blaise Pascal, which he discovered when doing experiments into perpetual motion?

What famous document begins: "When in the course of human events..."?

Answers tomorrow night.....

See this blog made absolutely no sense tonight...my mind is a jumble :)

Until tomorrow Be Safe & God Bless oh & STAY WARM!!!!

Keep on praying our guys need all the prayers you can muster, it really works!!

  2. Girl, I think your brain is working overtime because it is cold:) I didn't know that bit of trivia about "the whole nine yards"! Neither do I know most of the other questions. So NO, I will not be playing that game with you, hehe! Have a blessed day and stay warm! HUGS!
