I was up and about early this morning, had my house cleaned from top to bottom by 10:00am! Showered and off to the market we went!
I made a yummy Greek Salad & some grilled chicken for lunch ~ boy was it good!
After that my little furry four legged friend was itching to get out! I told her earlier that we could go out and play & after telling her "one minute" for about an hour she had had enough!!! She grabbed a boot and ran all around the dining room table like a little crackpot!
I bundled up and out into the yard we went, I was on a mission to get the heavy snow off of my beloved holly bush! I just love that beautiful shrub & it was buried under some pretty heavy snow!
My friend was checking things out for herself, she gave a few tugs at the branches but thought it would be better to leap through the snow...
That was my day in a nutshell...came in and made a Butt-kicking chili! That's dinner for tomorrow night MMMMMM!
Oh & MY MARINE CALLED!!!!! We talked for just a minute, he was good waiting for everything to really kick off on Monday ~ OOHRAH Marine, you made your momma smile today!!

ReplyDeleteYIPPEE...first of all for a call from da Marine... :-) and your cooking has me drooling, second of all!!!!! And third of all. that dawg is just having too much fun!! I get cold just lookin at you out there in that snow...Makes my hands start hurtin just thinking about knocking snow and ice off of bushes...Keep up the good old fashioned "stay inside and cook up some HE-Man Hot warm-up your-insides food"!! Know Mr. P is loving it!
