Telemarketers..............

How many times does one have to ask to have her name added to a Do Not Call List before THEY actually STOP CALLING????

Our phone never stops ringing....all times of the day & night. Tonight I was running late and didn't get home from my day until 7:15pm ~ I leave my house at about 6:30am SO IT WAS A VERY LONG DAY!

When I got in my phone was ringing, it was this little cutie!



Nikky when she two years old, Christmas morning (a sign of things to come, LOL) ~ She tried calling me a little earlier to check-in and when she didn't get me she kept on trying, at that point she wanted to say hi and see if I was o.k., I have great kids they are always thinking of us :)

So after we got caught up on things I went on up to change into my comfy PJs and what do you think happened, the phone rang again.....Double Day Book Club!

They wanted to know why I hadn't been ordering books lately and wanted to give me a special deal because I have been such a great customer...never asked if I was busy never asked if I had a minute just kept right on TALKING!!!!!

When she finally stopped to take a breath I asked her for her home telephone number and for a time that would be really really inconvenient for her to be taking calls and told her that I'd get back to her then to discuss my book ordering habits...she actually said "so I'm taking that as you don't want to take advantage of this offer?" ~ Gee you are brilliant!

After a long day the last thing I want to do is talk to telemarketers, I talk to elderly patients all day long about their bills, not just the bills that we send out for our physicians services we actually have a few that want to call in all of their payments for everything to me and have me take care of "dispersing" the cash....so at the end of the day yes I am very much like this guy....



So if you are a telemarketer and you are reading this it's nothing personal, I just don't want to listen to you talk, LOL!
